Chris Sabora was directly behind him and the rocks took out his belly pan, causing him to retire from the race. Going down the front straight, all 3 of them could have been covered by a blanket, and as Ryan Sutton passed Ryan Doherty entering the chute, Ryan Doherty clipped the edge of the track and shot gravel off of his back tire. Then the next lap Ryan Sutton and Chris Sabora came by me and started to swarm Ryan Doherty. I managed to stay out in front for the first couple of laps, but starting Lap 3 Ryan Doherty passed me into T1. I lined up on the inside going down the hill into T3 and passed him. I got a good start but Ryan Doherty beat me to T2.

Sixteen laps and twenty-five minutes of all-out 600cc war. I managed to stay out front the entire race and bring home a hard-fought win. He would close the gap then I would catch up to lap traffic and make a pass and the gap would widen again ever so slightly. I paid attention to my signals on Pit Wall, knowing that Chris Sabora was hot on my heels. Again, I got a good start, first into T2 and I never looked back. Race complete.Īfter 600SS, I knew I had to be a little less aggressive entering T3. I put in solid laps and manage to retake 4 th place before the finish line. I get waved back onto the track and put my head down, determined to salvage what I can. Hard on the brakes, get the bike turned, and OH SHIZZZZZ! I tuck the front, save it, runoff in the dirt and tuck the front again, save it again, and now I am in LAST PLACE. I get the bike turned, get on the gas and feel the rear slide as I head out of T2 and down the hill into T3, YEEHAAW. We line up, the light goes out, and I get a killer start, beating the field into T2 by a couple of bike lengths. Heading out on track, I am more than ready to race, feeling a focus and aggression that I have not felt in a while. In qualifying for the Formula 2 race Ryan Sutton, Ryan Doherty, Barry Wressell and I all ran within a few 10ths of a second of each other, putting us all on the front row of the grid. Going into the weekend, the weather was decidedly indecisive, causing me much emotional distress… I was just ready to go racing, no matter the conditions, but as it turned out we had a dry track all weekend and we got to go fast! Well kinda fast. This past weekend, WMRRA held their final round of the 2018 season at Pacific Raceways in Kent Washington. WMRRA Round 7 Race Report and Season Recap 2018 Season
#FLEXIGLASS BODYWORK CRACK#
Spider cracks no good ,bad fitment no good.Kevlar or carbon reinforcement ,looks cool ,good for mounting holes so the holes dont rip ,too flexible wont hold a shape, too rigid will always crack ,stuff that has the holes molded in is a plus. It doesnt have to take a crash without rashing or cracking ,thats gonna happen ,its the amount the damage will spread is the biggest prob. If you can pick it up from the windscreen ears or small sections and it can support its own weight thats good stuff,if you pick it up and it cracks ,toss it. funny thing is they are all local at least CANADIAN ID go with AK ,armour bodies, OPP,or FLEXI GLASS for the money and the quality. There are others but these are what ive dealt with baSICALLY DISINIGRATE ON CONTACTġ0-The white gel coat crap from china that was being sold here ,HOLY SHIT that stuff is garbageġ1-BODY DOUBLE ,(WOW BRUTAL ,i think a guy they fired from airtech went there ) The rest all have SIMILAR basic flaws ,shitty fitting and if you pAY A LOW PRICE YOULL GET LOW QUALITY SHIT. GOOD stuff but the price is UP there past OPP and AK ,uses gel coat ,kinda brittle But for the money good stuffĥ-FLEXI GLASS - MUch better finished then OPP stuff ,comes primered no mold lines ,has lots of stock ,designs are getting waaay better.
#FLEXIGLASS BODYWORK PLUS#
Here is my rating ,the ones with gel coat are less flexible and much more brittle ,they tend to spider crack ,reinforced edges are a plus but not all that important ,good for fastener spots ,but like the dude from AK said ,kevlar aint gonna stop concrete from eating through it no matter if its there or notġ-SHArkskinz - best fit quality ,but high price ( no gel coat )Ģ-Ak compsites- from what ive read and heard they are a close second to sharkskins ,plus local, decent price ( only supplier of the group listed i have not actually used ,but i hear big things and in ROAD racer world they got a really good review ) no gel coatģ- armour bodies - flexible ,good looking stuff ,but pricey ( no gel coat)Ĥ-OPP racing - really good price ,lots of selection ,superbike style tails ,fit is usually on the mark ,but too many MOLD lines ,long waits and uses GELCOAT. Ive dealt with all of em ,repaired, fit, painted etc.
